My name is Rusaf Rahman Khan, and I am from Bangladesh. I completed my GCSE and GCE Advanced Level from Maple Leaf International School. I am now studying Business Informatics at the University of Debrecen in Hungary.
This journey has been one of the biggest learning experiences of my life. It was not only about getting admission to a university abroad. It was about learning how to make decisions, trust the process, stay patient, and grow with every step.
I completed my GCSE in September 2022. During that time, I studied Bangla, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Further Pure Mathematics, and English Language. These subjects helped me build a strong academic foundation and taught me how to stay disciplined and focused. Later, I completed my GCE Advanced Level in August 2024 with Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. These subjects improved my problem-solving skills and helped me become more confident in logical and analytical thinking.
While studying these subjects, I understood that I wanted to choose a field that is practical, modern, and connected to the future. I was always interested in how businesses work and how technology helps them improve. That is why Business Informatics felt like the right subject for me. It combines business knowledge with technology and teaches how digital systems and information can be used to solve real business problems. I found this subject very relevant because today almost every business depends on data, systems, and technology to make better decisions.
When I decided to study abroad, I was excited, but I was also confused. I did not know where to begin, what steps to follow, or how the full process worked. Encouraged patience and trust in the process during waiting periods
At Eduvisors, I met a counsellor named Maesha. From the beginning, she guided me in a very simple and clear way. She explained the full process step by step and helped me understand what I needed to do. What made the experience different was that she was not only professional, but also very supportive. Whenever I was confused or stressed, she was there to guide me. Because of that, the process felt much easier and more manageable.
This journey taught me that studying abroad is not only about submitting documents and getting a visa. It is a process that teaches responsibility, patience, and confidence. Every step came with something new to learn. From preparing documents to understanding university requirements, from waiting for updates to getting ready for the embassy, each part of the process taught me how to stay calm and organized.
One of the biggest lessons came during the embassy stage. I was very nervous before the appointment. I kept thinking about everything that could go wrong, and I felt a lot of pressure. But I followed the guidance I had received and stayed prepared. That experience taught me that fear becomes smaller when preparation is strong. What felt stressful at first became much easier because I was ready.
Another big lesson came during the waiting period. Waiting for updates, decisions, and finally the visa was not easy. It taught me patience. It taught me that not everything happens quickly, and sometimes the best thing to do is trust the process and stay positive.
Getting my visa was one of the happiest moments of my life. It was not only a successful result, but also the reward for all the effort, stress, and patience behind the journey. It was a proud moment for me and my family, and it made me realize how important support and guidance can be in achieving something meaningful.
Now, studying at the University of Debrecen has already become an important part of my learning journey. Living in a new country, adjusting to a new environment, and studying in an international setting have all taught me valuable life lessons. I am learning not only from my academic studies, but also from everyday life. I am becoming more independent, more responsible, and more confident in myself.
This journey has taught me that growth does not only come from the classroom. It also comes from the decisions we make, the challenges we face, and the people who guide us in the right direction. For me, this journey has been a story of learning, growth, and moving one step closer to the person I want to become.
